Avenue Magazine Article

We are very excited to have our friends at Avenue Magazine include an article on the Calgary Trend House in their February 2016 “Modern Vintage” issue. We had a lot of fun talking to Andrew back in the late summer and early fall about the history of the house, the designation process and the approach to decorating in the Mid-Century Modernist style.

In November, we spent a day with Jared and the creative team from Avenue taking pictures around the house and seeing how the Dwell style “blurry person moving through an environment” photos are taken, and a couple of them made it into the article. It was a great experience all around and the piece turned out great.
